My sun burn is peeling AHH!!?

So even though I apply sunscreen periodically throughout the day because of my job I'm outside in the sun alll the time. So my neck is peeling! It feels like dead skin if I run my hand over it and it's just one spot that is starting to peel. What can I do?? This is a horrible place to have a peeling sunburn. You cannot see it but everyone else can! I have a product called st ives apricot scrub I was wondering if I could use this to remove the dead skin cells?
