I accidentally peeled off some extra skin from my new tattoo, what do I do?

Last week I got a tattoo on my hip and it was healing nicely, and started peeling yesterday. Today as I was taking off a pair of jeans the tattoo was scraped and extra skin was peeled off. I cans see a small divot in my tattoo now, will it heal over, or scar, or should I go see the guy to did my tattoo? What kind of antibacterial cream is ok to use on tattoos?
