How do I get rid of pimples on my nose?

I'm taking this thing called Retin a for my acne and I'm in the initial breakout stage but prom is next week and I keep getting these big red pimples on my nose. They keep coming up one after another, right now I have about four and although some are big and some are nearly flat you can still see it's a pimple because it's red. I can't put make up on it because one of the side effects of Retin a is skin peeling and it just looks like orange skin coming off my face. How can I reduce the size or make them less red?
